- Stem glabrous, plum blue, with red spots at the base, erect and greatly branched.
- Leaves alternate, glabrous, the lower triangular, divided (2-4 times) with oblong triangular segments, very small towards the top.
- Flowers white in umbel, 10-20 unequal rays. Bracts numerous and lanceolate triangular, whitish, recurved with membranous margin.
- Fruits 2.5-3.5 mm with sides generally undulate-crenate.
