Is flight improved by wings that are sensitive to taste ?
Recent research showed that the chemosensory sensilla of the drosophila wing are capable of detecting sweet and sour molecules and that they are implicated in chemo-orientated free flight.
A newly-discovered insulin secretion pathway
Gérard Manière and his colleagues have demonstrated the existence of a new molecular pathway that controls the liberation of insulin, a key hormone in the regulation of glycemia.
